Saxophonist. Composer. Educator…20 Years of Musical Excellence!

Born in Italy, Carlo Fraccalvieri embarked on his musical journey at a young age. He honed his skills at the Cardiff University School of Music in the UK, graduating with a BMus in Music, specialising in both classical and jazz saxophone.

Carlo's passion for the saxophone has led him to pursue advanced studies with renowned saxophonists, including Steve Grossman, George Garzone, and Jerry Bergonzi. This rigorous training, coupled with his innate musicality, has cultivated a unique and captivating style.

A versatile performer, Carlo has graced the stage with esteemed ensembles such as Orchestra Utopia, Zetema Project, and the Mingus Family, collaborating with renowned musicians like Fabio Morgera, Paolo Fresu, and Fabio Lepore.

Based in Cardiff since 2008, Carlo actively contributes to the local music scene, leading various projects and bands while sharing his expertise as a dedicated educator.

Carlo's music seamlessly blends the roots of bop with his own distinctive voice, creating a truly captivating and unforgettable performance experience.
